Join Altair EcoVillage on the No Bus-Bus Tour!

In keeping with CohoUS's National Cohousing Open House Days, Saturday & Sunday, May 6 & 7, MAC is bringing back its very popular VIRTUAL bus tour. In REAL time from the comfort of your home or playground!

How do you get a seat? See below to sign up via Meetup, get the link to register via Zoom.

We will visit 3 coho communities in our Mid Atlantic region:

Takoma Village, Washington, DC. Move in started November 2000 and completed in March 2001. The FIRST coho community completed in the region. Developer driven, this community was completed in 29 months. What's it like to work with a developer?

Altair EcoVillage, Kimberton, PA. Meet a soon-to-be cohousing community that's an Ecovillage, too! Construction to start in 2024!

Blueberry Hill, Vienna VA. Completed in 2001. This community saved an Organic Farm! Resident driven, they used a professional architect and other professionals to help them finish the project. The architect and family ended up living there, too!

MAC's Virtual NO BUS BUS TOUR is one of many, many offerings/activities by coho communities -- virtual and in-person -- being offered throughout the US and beyond on this very cool weekend. The event is organized and sponsored by CohoUS. Group and communities participating on this weekend offer an array of cohousing communities in all stages of development. Something for everyone.

WHY THIS NO-BUS BUS TOUR IS OF INTEREST TO YOU

Hands down, in 90 minutes, this is the fastest way for an overview of multiple communities in all stages of development from approaching construction to communities "happily ever aftering" together for 20+ years. Plenty of time for Q&A.

REGISTER HERE

Once you have completed registering at the ZOOM site you will be sent a unique link to the event. This unique link is created just for you. Don't lose it. Write it in your calendar on the day of the event or in whatever device you use to track your events. Tattooing is also a good idea. There is no generic link to the Zoom event.

Please plan to REGISTER at the Zoom site BEFORE the day of the event. When too many people are trying to register at the same time ... it's like a backup at rush hour!

At a time when our country and society seem farther apart, here are 4 cohousing communities among the many hundreds across the U.S., Canada and the world bringing people together -- one neighborhood at a time.
